Stacie Valdez has been a prolific reader since she discovered libraries in the first grade. She began telling stories to anyone who would listen at the same time. Unfortunately, she didn’t write any stories until much later. She has published non-fiction articles and was a guest columnist for the New York Times.

Raising five wonderful children left little time for full-length novels. Now, they are adults in their own homes, leaving an empty nest for Stacie, her husband, Rod, and their ornery Corgi, Remy, and lots of time to write. When she is not reading or writing, she loves baking for her family.
