REVISED EDITION
Hearing loss is a complex disability, strife with negative stigma that might have prevented you from seeking help for years, cutting you off from the social interaction you crave. It’s important to know the nuts and bolts, but that knowledge won’t do you any good if you are embarrassed to talk about your hearing loss and struggle to admit that you need support.
In this book, I apply my experience as a person with lifelong hearing loss, and as a Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, to guide you toward Becoming Hearing Empowered!
Specifically written for:
- Anyone age 14+ with hearing loss.
- People who love someone with hearing loss.
- Audiologists to supplement their aural rehabilitation.
- Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to use as curriculum.
